5.3V/6 ohms =0.88A Speedy Jim reckons 5.5V/10 ohms = 0.55A But that's beetle numbers and so are his full (40L) figures. I don't suppose anyone has a later sender and a multimeter knocking about?

In fact I think I do have one but it's in Ramsey. ...I wonder if SandybAy has a multimeter...

Or get a T4.. my fuel gauge is dead accurate, and beeps at you when you get in the red.. and it's got a warning light and everything..😛

I changed down an idle jet size yesterday. Tomorrow the clutch could do with tightening a little and I've also got a sticky throttle making it leap forwards since I had the engine out.

But maybe you should just swop your garden shed and your VW shed over, we could manhandle it down to the bottom of my garden onto the slabs and I could keep chickens in it.

At least the gauge reads 'wrong' in a way that means you are unlikely to run out of juice
