I haven't used him myself, I use someone nearer to home, but he's got a very good reputation. Sorry - it didn't click that he was you if you know what I mean

He's only about half an hour away from me and bizarrely I met his Dad at the supermarket in Dersingham even though I'd never actually spoken to either of them. How you know it his dad then you. Crazy fool ? My mother in law lives in Dersingham and the ladies had gone shopping in the supermarket and I was just sat in the van with my dog listening to some tunes when this old codger.......hang on

Let me guess...where you minding your own business, enjoying a day out in your bus, when an old codger came over and starting boring you with stories about how his son restores campers He's good at doing that... Yup. We had a good old chat, he's a nice guy.

Yeah it's the username That confused me, see above ๐๐ Sorry, I had been watching black adder when I chose this username ๐๐ To get the thread back on track, Chad, are you getting any sort of draft out your front vents? With repro heat exchangers, you normally get some moderate warmth when the engine is revving, but barely noticeable at idle. Assume you have a working thermostat on the engine? It's also worth making sure all the door seals are sealing well, as any cold drafts soon negate the little heat. โบ

You're not alone my T2 has never had a working heater system in the 7 years I've owned it. Probably out in California they weren't too bothered.

Thanks for the advice.
I'll check these this week as I think they're OK but will make sure.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU LOT JUST MAN UP AND PUT A WOOLEY HAT ON AND SOME THICK UNDERGARMENTS, A PAIR OF GLOVES (NOT WOOL) AND SOME THICK SOCKS IT'LL BE THE BEST RIDE YOU'VE EVER HAD WITH YER CLOTHES ON.

I'm not that bothered but my missus and eldest son are giving me grief - given that he spent 6 months in Svalbard in the Artic Circle as part of his degree I'd thought he'd think it was hot. They can also see that I've tried to fix it and if I fail then it's just either Dad's useless (again) or it's an old camper.
