If I hadn't of wanted a T5 scooby was one of the options for the bay but I reckon a beetle or even a little beach buggy with a scooby engine would be very interesting 😎 if my bay hadn't been an auto i might have been more into the idea but to be honest i'd have rather done it diesel.

Don't go scooby deisel though, sadly bag of shite, shame really as could have been perfect but cranks snap at 100k and uneconomical repair, eBay awash with them!

I know I have asked this before, on another forum!! BUT what is the best engine/car to buy for an engine. There is a Subaru Forrester for sale where I live and it is a 1998 2.0 na with about 110k on the clock. Is it the right one to get? I have read a bit about series 1 series 2 etc. @chrisgooner ? Did you buy it?

Nice one Matt, have you negotiated a subarugears with the Mrs yet? Gone a bit quiet on that front. There is a guy not far from me called nick tune who has sets in stock and the subanose and mounts so a one stop shop for the lot. Hoping to go and pick it up when I back in the uk

Got a leak from the hard-lines coming out of the petrol tank. So car is now off the road until I get back in march.
