Yes have thought about it for many years but then I remember it involves talking to people in the real world and it's starts my trebles off again. Prefer the bass hey?

I'd like mates to come and stay in the garden, like Mick does. Fuck the general public though, they're mainly arseholes. I'm general public and so's woody

There's no way I'd run a campsite - There's more than enough aggro already in the summer when the Tarquins and Jocastas and their brood of spoilt brats infest the village.

Campsite = Rules No kids, no music after 9pm, no raised voices, no trouble, dogs to be on leads, women to be on leads, no football, no chasing sheep. Enjoy

years ago i chatted to the chap who owned the campsite at crantock, he said that he had 13 weeks (if it was a good year) to make his money for the rest of the year. if it was bad weather then he'd have fewer weeks and have to pile in as many tents/vans as possible which would impact on campers' enjoyment and whether they booked the following year. a great site with superb facilities. I guess it would be good if you weren't relying on it for your sole income.
on the same cycling/camping trip i stayed at Menallack Cheese Farm, it was a small rough field out the back with a stand pipe and toilet. that was it. Very few level areas even for a two-man tent, it was brilliant, so small that you could pop into the farmhouse for a cuppa as long as you helped with the chores/washing up etc. their business was cheese and at the time they'd just begun selling some to fortum and mason's. They were a very happy couple selling cheese out of a shed and making a bit of extra by letting folks camp in their no-frills field.

A site with a fishing lake or other all weather activity to help keep the cash going in is needed.
