The full monty! Are you happy with him cutting the arch in half? I've never had to do that and I've fitted dozens. The door gap looks too tight along the arch and will peel the seal out of the door channel plus the seal will have no room to splay out which will make the door hard to close. Soz.

He said he had to cut the arch as it wouldn't line up correctly, I have a before picture of the door gap which looks the same apart from a bigger gap around the step Before After

Yes, the previous arch wasn't fitted correctly either though the step gap was better, larger than the rest as it should be. I'd be surprised if the bottom of the door wasn't scraping the new one. He's had to cut it because he was trying to make it fit incorrectly.
My guess is your bodyworker is skilled and experienced but hasn't done many bay window buses. Splitty gaps are very tight all round as the seal design is different which makes that possible.
Well I've said my arch bit so I'll shut up now. I've been looking hard as you posted up the pictures and everything else looks A1 to me. 👍

Hey Si, been following your resto pics on FB. Hope you & the family are all well. I've got to say its a well deserved resto for your camper who's served you well over the years, will it be ready for your annual trip to Glasto?

Hi Zed thanks for the comments, as I don't know what should be right or not.
Robo my family are all well, hope yours are as well, fortunately there is no Glastonbury this year so can concentrate on getting camper sorted this year.

I just hope Dave the Bay has been sufficiently anesthetized for this massive procedure. Wouldn't want him waking up in the middle of that.

Looking good fella, your bus will look mint when finished. I’m envious as I can only afford to do mine panel by panel. 😀
