Result! I just had a thought about the back bit by the bed. As you don't have a window there why not do the bottom cabinets as you've drawn but extend the top of the back one up to roof height but only half the depth so you have a compromise between extra shoulder room in bed but still have full height, nut narrow, storage as well. Possibly a good place for mobiles, remote controls for the telly, reading glasses and false teeth. edit: wigs and false leg as well as adult nappies could be stored there as well.

Just had a catch-up on this thread fella, like your idea's & a bit of great Karma too! Love it...
Have you considered a narrower run of cupboards along the side of the bed? The reason I say this is ours which is full width is basically king size, I only know this because I measured it when buying one of those teddy bear furry toppers from B&M bargain shop & I doubted myself so went outside to measure the width & had to exchange the double for the king sized...

When I was looking into doing a conversion on a T5 I'd looked at loads of RnR beds but had decided if this was my route I'd go with the RIB 3 seater inc. 3 x seatbelts but wasn't quite full with which then allowed for a narrow cupboard run along the side of it... I first spotted a conversion done by Autohaus called the ashton which suited what I wanted to achieve from a self build, this was the type of thing (nicked off the autohaus website). I'd like some storage in ours but not sure how or where tho!

Spot on Bob, I need to find a better place than the bike rack for my spare wigs 👍🏻

Are we on the same page? Me, Thin = depth You, wide = width The measures are on the pic. Gap between bed and wall of van is 50cm I'm trying to squeeze 48 cm in but van curves slightly so may have to trim

How you gonna finish the wood off Rick, I've just seen a good thread on T4's Facebook page about people vinyl wrapping their units.
