Finally got some oil and a filter to get it changed (I've only changed it once) it was done when I got it in September 2015 I changed it in September '16 and although due again September '17 I hadn't done anywhere near the 12,500 miles so as I haven't been using it I left it. This time I've gone for a bundle offer from e bay, 7 litres of oil and a filter for £49.99 delivered, oil is vw 507 spec' fully synthetic but only comma make, I figure as I'll be lucky to get anywhere near the miles again before a year it will do, hopefully get it changed soon once the weather improves Have they changed the vans at work then? These sprinters use no oil at all, the crafters used to drink it

The beast lives! In preparation for camp on march 24 I've changed the oil and filter, ''twas really funny driving it again, the steering is so light and the brakes so good compared to a shitty 14 year old Ford Fusion, it took some getting used to although I do like sitting high up so I might drive it a bit more this next week

I thought that the Fusion was just your 'winter car'? Thing is, it does 50mpg if I thrash it, and 60 if I pootle, the dogs can wreck it and I don't wash it...... I'm loving it

Fair enough - we've got a Citroen C15 van that we use the same way.
It'll be scrapped this December as it'll need a cambelt change and yet more welding for the MOT.
At least it'll save me from spending a load of time this summer trying to keep the dissolving bodywork together.

Back using the van as my daily at the moment due to the shitty red rocket breaking another coil spring on our shocking roads, it's giving me chance to sort out crap I've been storing and skipping crap the ex left so every cloud. Not loving the mpg difference tho lol

Sold the fusion for the same money I paid, had so much work done on it (luckily for swaps not cash) and was offered a sale the day it came back from last repair, was great getting 50+ mpg and £40 for 400 miles, just filled van £83 and I'll get 600. On the plus side 1st camp of the year this weekend 👍

Partly hack yes but also I was really skint while paying divorce fees etc so it helped save on fuel
