Hello chaps, I am struggling to decide which tyre to go for in fact I have no idea where to start with this sort of thing. The bus has been lowered using beam adjusters up front and horse shoe brackets at the rear giving it around a 90mm drop, I have a new set of fuch replica 5 x 112 alloys any recommendations on tyre size or make?

All I know is due to the weight of the late bays you need to buy commercial van tyres not car tyres as the sidewalls need to be strengthened!

I've got Michelin Agilis commercial tyres on mine.
I did a lot of research before hand and they came out the best.
I got the standard 185/14C size for 14" wheels and am very pleased with them - they've been on for 3 years now.
Theres a few tyre comparison websites so it might be worth looking at them - Im afraid that I don't have any details to hand at the moment
There may be better tyres now as 3 years can be a long time in that market

Are parents always had van tyres on the old Peugeot estate as they lasted longer.

You'll struggle getting commercial tyres in the size you need with the drop you have, most people use car tyres arguing the toss a bay isn't really heavy enough to warrant 8 ply van tyres, you can probably get away with 4x4 tyres which will be slightly better than car.

Mine is lowered not sure how much but pretty sure standard size tyres just reinforced sidewalls

Would this not give the insurance companies another reason not to payout if they noticed?
