Dunno I've got to pay VW silly money to do it for me so the warranty stays valid, for the next couple of years anyhow...

Not true, any vat registered garage using the correct spec oils and parts will still make warranty valid, this discussion was had on t5 forum, I did my oil/filter myself as I'm out of warranty fully synth oil £47 for 4.5 litres and you need 8. Good job the work vans use the same.

I use the free semi-synth in my garage. "found" 205 litres a few years ago. Still works fine. Wouldn't put it in one of these new diesels though. 25,000 mile oil change!

I have a load of roquette growing and a crate of walnuts and I'm wandering which of my oils would be best to make a pesto.
Chilli oil or rosemary oil?

Anyone know what oil I should put in my 1 series diesel? I've just worked a night shift and I'm too tired and lazy to google it
