Home made pans have never been off so this winter they are. See what's under ythere lurking after 7 years when extensive work was done to put what was basically, a wreck, back on the road. may waxoil under there as well. Is it good to waxoil the arches as well and what else other than badness should I look out for?

No, the PO saw sense and attached them with bolts. When the time comes I'll take some pics as also there are no jacking points/little box bits on this bus, instead big fuck off metal plates so you can throw a jack under the general area without coming up through the floor

Hopefully going in on the 12th march if snow gone by then.

Took photo's on my phone but can't upload them (says file too big) shame because it's nice and dry under those home made pans just a bit wet on the n/s side where the pan sits up against the jack point replacement. Now got problem with massive icing so looks like the pre heat pipes are gonna have to come off. bugger.

Use tapatalk to host your pics, I can't see them pulling the plug on forums as that's all they do. I think feeding it warm air is more important than the manifold heating and maybe more likely to have come adrift if this is a recent problem.

Been getting worse for 2 years. I can put my fingers on the pre heat pipe with a warmed up engine which suggests to me that the pipe is blocked. So it's caustic soda time or twin carbs. Decisions Oh, what's a tapatalk. Is that like when my mrs talks a lot and taps her foot at the same time?
