Has anyone tried the aero style wipers on their bus rather than the og type? I've just put some on mine, they are leaving an area in the middle of the wiper unwiped which is a pain. I thought I would try them as the originals always seem to squeak on my screen, and the aeros have been great on my newer cars.

Some of the ones I've seen for sale have been prefixed with 'flat windscreen'.
Maybe because the bays windscreen is a lot more curved than newer cars they don't work for some reason.
I appreciate that this may not be of much more help than Woody's comment.

They squeak cos you havnt got enuff water on the screen or your mech iz tight I'd say ? Mine do it if it's light rain , springs on them are quite strong so you do get a good rub, go fa rear wipers to replace they normally have bendy ends , you could always spray with that rain stuff No spoilers needed really accept one on the roof fa scooby doo erz

You made a mistake Woody and I'm sorry to say that getting others to make the same mistake won't undo yours.

Nah that T4 was brilliant, nice quick and did what it said on the tin, I was hanging onto the Vdub thing by my fingernails and my situation changed that's all. I still go camping with some of the same old folks and some new folks but in a plastic box, nowt's changed really apart from I don't like camping as much as I used too.

Hi bud, I just paid a small ransome for some OG original wiper arms and blades and they are doing exactly the same as in leaving a bit missing in the middle of the screen.I`m wondering if the rubber is harder with age ?? or is it just shite rubber like everything else. That rain wizard is good stuff but I kept forgetting to rub it on the window plus I believe its got silicone innit which is a bit of a no no if you is gonna do some painting and that seems to be more frequent now too . Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,Good excuse not to take him out in the rain I spose

I got some OG 68 blades and they were crap - the rubber had hardened.
I got some refills from Halfords and cut them to size and they're fine now.

Now that sounds like a bit of a plan from someone what happens to have their thinking cap on. It`s no good, I`ve resisted until now, but I`m off up to see Mario now at our local superbo chippy. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,Tried to stay away, honest I did.

Bugger I have some of those waiting to be fitted as well. Don't think I'll bother until I've done the halfords trip, is it easy to work out what to buy to replace?

Yes indeedy, especially if you got it all there together. If you are prone to mass confusion, take piccies on your phone of how it all fits before you takes them apart, then do them one at a time. Simples really. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,even I managed it

Thanks for the replies fellas, looks like I may have to fish my old wipers from the bin and change the rubbers.
And Woody I wouldn't ever make the mistake you did with your shitty snot van, or make the even bigger one you've made now. 😀😀 Are you still in the yeti owners ans swingers club?
