The units were made out of £30 worth of waterproof MDF and my wife did all the trimming etc. It's pretty basic but the intent was to see what worked for us and then get the units done professionally. Given the cost of this I think we'll be using my units for a long time

To be honest mate, although some pro units look great. Most look naff and aren't in keeping with the bus or its age. I like that. keep it simple and it is what it is. Ive gone down a similar route. I can chop it and change it as I go along and if I do ever get it done by a pro it will probably look no different.

I agree with dicky, basic and cheap is the key, these new interiors cost a fortune and apart from looking pretty do exactly the shame as a home brew one. Here's mine Unit made out of pallets.

Looks good and shouldn't need treating with kid gloves like some of the expensive fancy ones

Chris has done an absolutely brilliant job on this Bus it really is very good, especially considering he's a fucktard gooner.

Posh one from Mork, is he still trading? That's his dining room at home I think. He must have posted the wrong picture.

Posh one from Mork, is he still trading? Dunno Chris, Ive heard one or two stories about Scott vanishing and not completing projects. I hope this isn't the case

I do love a good home brew job, and I'm not on about my wine! We fitted a jag front seat in our bay & a storage unit behind in mdf because we had a full width rusty Lee (I like / need a big bed) Had to fabricate some brackets but the height was spot on and proper comfy, our lad slept across it at night also! This was our simple storage box / seat thing which we had the 240v stuff in cooker & all the pots pans etc. I had the cooker in a drawer that pulled out when the slider was open, perfect for brewing up & bacon butties in the morning We don't have any storage & no cooker in the new van so I'm planning to build something similar to the above but that slides out of the boot from under the bed thingy not the full width tho just about the same size as the one we built in the bay!
