Not a bad day, havn't been for 3 years. Had usual banter with geezer on gate about the price. Got a new pair of rear lenses for eight quid and a pair of chrome trims for 3 quid. Passed on the 20K splittie and only one car in the for sale section (square) was realistically priced. Nothing of real interest. Some nice dogs there though, no parrots or snakes this year. 3 quid for a 99 ice cream (passed) 7 quid for one crepe (passed) 7.50 for noodles (passed) no schwimmerwagens in historic section, actually very few cars I hadn't seen somewhere else in time. Went back to mrs's van, had egg sarnie went home.
Anyone else go?

Been 3 times in the past, after the third time I realised every car and van was parked in the exact same place to the millimetere as the year before, Lots of nice cars but they all get trailered in and out, stopped going about 3 years ago.

Yep we went, 'tis on our doorstep & had a great time 👍🏻
We were even allocated a different parking space to last year 😱 it was ok as it was even closer to pop top kitchen who supplied breakfast & had the cheapest coffee which was also very drinkable!
I have a pic somewhere......

Didn't realise you sold stuff. Think I may have a stall next time, got too much of it now.

Saw a few bargains on the parts stalls. OG type 4 oval pirt heat exchangers in good nick for 50 a side was about the best but didnt go back ( may kick myself at some point for that faux pas). always a nice atmosphere there and its nice to see something other than bays, splits and beetles although that said i always love the historic beetle display. Lunch at poptop kitchen was 4 quid so all good. Didnt experience the expnsive icecream but your approach is spot on. If you think its too expensive then dont buy it! will go next year more than likely and check out where evryone is parked.

Yep in same area but at bottom end, they even had a train that the parrots rode round on!
