Mine has stopped working, 8v off the panel...BUT...cool it down with a bucket of water - 18v.
So it works, but not in the sunshine. That's a bit crap!
Whether it's permanently damaged I don't know. Maybe remounting on some strips of wood to let the air under might help but then I'd worry it would get torn off on the motorway. Bugger!

Plugged it back in the controller and the bucket of water trick doesn't work so I suppose it's had it.

Mine stopped working a couple of weeks ago, a cheap 50W panel from Ebay. It lasted two and a bit years but now it's completely dead, I'm going to get another one and bond it on top of the old one and repeat every few years!

I've fitted a solid one on the motorhome as height isn't an issue now... 120w not really an issue as fridge is gas if off grid so it just runs lights and pump

Same happened to me, my new ones are now up on plinths and I’m getting much more leccy than I ever did when they were stuck onto the roof. It’s not the sunshine that buggers them up, it’s heat.

Yeah, I know, and where does the heat come from? The sun, so the sunnier it is, instead of making more electricity they get hot and make less. Ironic? I'm looking for a cheap gas fridge.
