All quiet on here so let's have a discussion.
I am thinking about getting rid of my T5 and replacing it with a T25/T3 pickup double cab.
Would be my daily driver/workhorse. Watercooled, 5 speed, aux heater, electric power steering.
What do you think? Am I mad?
Westy Bay window would be staying aswell of course

A) Yes you are mad, but that's a separate issue.
Vehicles all go wrong/wear out. Old ones are more easily fixable. đź‘Ť I know crew cabs look good, but a panel van might be more practical?

Is the real reason that you want a wedge to refine your Subaru installs? If yes then go for the more common body/engine bay which is probably not a pick up.

Not mad at all, it would merely mark you out as someone with style.

T25 Doka's are cool, with a reasonable amount of practability to boot. Even better with a scooby lump in them, which im sure you would address... The seam rash that T 25's suffer from is the thing I would be looking out for, but other than that, I say go for it.

Also look for rot inside where the floor meets the panel structure and of course the back thingy wot that oily thing sits in.
