Hello Folks, I Have recently bought a bay, having had our much loved and lived in T4 for the last 4 years. We used it most weekends, always 'Wild'/ Free camping and decided that having it do that job flawlessly for all that time, we should replace it with something that will cost twice as much to run, is half as likely to get us there, smaller, draftier, colder, noisier, less discrete and less likely to see anyone to wave at whilst we're on the road. Hence when the '79 Moonraker popped up for sale near by, we handed over far too much money, and then the magical illusion that was in place to hide the rust expired and we regularly ask ourselves wtf are we doing! Found this place from a link to the TechEnders event which I quite fancy but I don't know if I can convince Her to spend a weekend in a field getting oily. Hello mate, there's plenty of other halves and female owners staying clean or dirty, it's probably your best place to learn, when I got my bay I went and even now I've "upgraded" I still go.... hopefully I'll see you there, I'm in a white T5 but don't worry I don't do drum n bass.....

Welcome new members @jiliford & weaselTechenders has become much more than just getting oily in a field & is attended by quite a few who do no spannering at all. Plenty of peeps attend who can assist with most issue's or questions you may have! There are plenty of partners and kids attend & having fun, campfires alcohol and chit chat a plenty. If there's a fire going then just pull up a chair & enjoy! We have the use of Eddie's barn bar & even though Eddie & Jackie have managers running the site these days they are normally around to help with any issue's etc.

If you can manage to push the old bus this far (Charente-Maritime, France ) you are welcome the a night or two on my garden. Tell your good lady she would be a fool not to go to TE as it's fabulous, fantastic, fascinating, faultless and FUN.

Well I showed Her the Techenders site and we’re in, and I’m already in trouble for painting her as some kind of girly girl. She gets as stuck in as anyone. So we’re in if there’s space for a couple of newbs. And if the van will make it!

There's plenty space, there would need to be 500 buses before it got cramped. 👍 When you read what a great weekend it is, it really is! There's no bullshit involved as nobody is selling anything, it's a one of a kind groovy camping weekend with a bit of spannering.

Hi Simon. The best thing about this forum is the inactivity. You could check in once a week and catch up in 10 minutes. 👍

Oh ,,, you might like this bud, I’ve been at it in the kitchen with Mrs Ozziedog because of the birthday cele’s this weekend and we’ve been conjuring up some home made icecream Ferrero Rochers and as soon as they’re set, I’ll try and whang a piccy up, looks awesome and maybe in the region of about ten to fifteen thousand calories per serving. Home made icecream too Ozziedog,,,, , ,nice to catch up on some semi sarcastic nonsense
