T5 not being used, parked up in November after a trip to see zed, just about started on December 27 for a run to the coast (220 mile round trip) but left since then, went to start today and flat as a witches tit, had even forgotten clock time, had to put on a 20a start charger to get it started (about 20 mins before it worked) left it running an hour to charge off alternator, however I have 100w solar fitted and I have a dual direction relay so I assumed the solar would have been dropping the odd amp in, obviously not! Leisure was showing 13v so isn't dead, I'm guessing this time of year the sun is too low and short to even fully charge that? So I've got the ctek on and it's doing both, I'd imagine the starter battery is original and 6 years old so???

I don't think that it's necessarily knackered.
You've left it for a month and no doubt they'll have been a drain for the alarm etc..
I know SFA about solar but assume that 100W is in ideal conditions, not a british winter - my solar powered outside light doesn't charge up much at this time of year despite two charging panels.

Went out earlier and ctek is doing both batteries and both are showing over 14v so charging, I've left site cable connected and am leaving it on charge as if I was camping
