Fitting Devon bunks, never used them I know what you mean , I've removed one of mine which is was bit of a pain but it does now leave me with a nice popper up storage sack for long items like brolleys fig o eight etc etc. That's not a bad idea. I'll have a look at that as I don't have much storage

I'll have a look at that as I don't have much storage I was going to take both out as def provides a bit of space but ,they were both original so..... front bunk is Good idea for small kids and for storage but, I've gradually learned to take less but I'm a bit of a what if person . I just tend to use it to sleep in now and the rest goes outside under cover or is waterproof . Them flat pack vinyl ottermans are good for chucking things in once camped up,and act as seat too.

We are getting better at taking less, very happy now I've sacked the awning off, even bought a Devon swing out cooker so I can still cook in the event of rain.

Mine has one , one god thing being quick release you can put it else where, i.e. Awning just outside and if you don't need it leave at home. Imo more stuff that is inter useable in any camper would make for a more useable vehicle .

Not on mine but I hear some remove a perfectly designed engine and stick one of these in the back.

Where holes were made in the main body, the cut out bit was left dangling inside, broke off and rattled about inside. Too big to come out of any of the pipes, I saw it down a hole. Ernst??? Goes rusty but works.

Goes rusty but works. I have a boggo Ernst on my engine now. But that's the last of them, they've been replaced with exhausts that look half finished.
