Oh yes! After prising some caps out, doing some finer carb tuning and slowing down (sometimes) from 70mph to 65mph my mpg has gone up from 19 to 20.9.
Is it wrong to be pleased with that?

afternoon , as a 1600tp owner , my bus will go well over 65mph single carb too , but it gets a bit furkin hot if i do , so i try not too. It averages about 26ish mpg thats fast and slow driving . sometimes i take this into account when i go camping sometimes not . I tuned mine by recommended methods written down by people i trust and my own ears listing to engine notes at certain revs etc . Its a basic lawnmower so i can cut the grass when i get on site prior to setting up and it doesnt scorch the grass either . Thanks for viewing .

According to the computer my beemers getting about 50 to the gallon. My bus on the other hand I have no idea cos I keep booting it. All I know is I put less fuel in it now it's scooby than I did when it was lawnmower.
