I've just removed my solar panel so I can shift it over to fit another by the side and it's annoying the other is about 4 inch shorter that's going to mess with my ocd when I see it from above When would u see it from above? Unless looking out a bedroom window? He lives in a bungelow. ๐

I was working on the premise I get at max about 6a off the 100w so 3 off the 50.... the battery is usually full anyway as it charges while driving so it dumps a lot.

Looking at the specs 130w is the max for a 10a epever controller.
I think you would probably blow the internal fuse in the controller
I would also keep your panel where it is and put the 50 next to it and then you could put another 50 on the other side in the future.(of it fits that way of course)

Guess we'll find out..... I've put a 7.5 amp fuse in line before the controller..... maybe I'll go on eBay and get a 15a one or something, I doubt I'll blow it before midsummer? Certainly not this weekend I hope.

Well it works on an overcast day like today it was just showing 3.9a but of course the battery is full from driving, voltage shows 14.3 on the digital meter and if I flick the dual direction relay on it's sending charge to the van battery too.... I'm hoping if it does blow it will just pop the 7.5 amp fuse and I'll order a beefier controller come payday

I was considering adding another 100w to the 100w I already have based on this though technically the controller should limit my panels to 150w total. I think I'll wait and see if yours goes up in flames first. ๐
