We have ventured down to terrorise the pixies once again this year. I finished work Wednesday evening, went home threw a bag of clothes in the boot & some pillows then sat around waiting for the ladies of the house after they'd shot off to a friends for emergency hair something or other! Managed to hit the road at 7pm, 253 trouble free miles & 5 hours of driving later we arrived in Delabole Stuck ourselves in the corner of the Bettle & Chisel's car park, took pooch for a walk and she dropped a couple of dog eggs, was almost tempted to knock on pud door as they were blatantly having some afters decided to hit the sack instead Woke this morning refreshed, nipped over road to the spar for sausage & bacon hot rolls & coffee, this place has everything you need and the bonus is free camping

Shot into Newquay this morning for a mooch round the tat & surf shops Bought new zippy jackets with Molly campers on for the kids & I had a fat willys t shirt on and another sex wax sticker for the Cali as I know the boys over on the Cali forum love a good bit of sex wax ππ» Oh that reminds me I went back this morning with a bag to collect the dog eggs she laid last night! It was dark & I had no bags π± We drove in and out of fistula beach car park, got to say there are less old campers than last year I've seen loads of T6's too which means mines almost a classic & already getting rare, when can I get my free tax? I would so fit a draw bridge tho if I lived in this gaff, either that or a section that drops out at the push of a button Stopped for coastal photo opportunity Drove along the coast to harlyn bay, found it last year & its fab for the kids to go body boarding, they even got childminders to stop em drowning & saves me getting wet ππ» Quite warm too, well I was until I went for a paddle up to my naval & then decided to show the kids how a pro bodyboards, fingers turned white so went back inland to get dry Drove back to delabole & had a few ciders from the spa shop & sat in pud car park drinking, we did go and have a nice meal in the pub which was very good ππ» Now tucked up in Alfie The Robowagen contemplating tomorrow's adventure which is polperro and then Rame to visit Mrs Robo's uncle Love it darn ere just going where we like, we've seen a few random fields with signs for tents & campers about all very non official We like a good pub tho as they have a proper bog & the kitchen staff smuggle scraps out for the dog πΆ

We headed towards Hale for our third night grabbing some supplies from the supermarket & the kids a pizza then headed to a pud just outside the town, had a cider but otherwise just chilled in the van. Felt a bit exposed here as the car park was to the side of the pub but no issues and got a good nights kip Set off early into st Ives & bagged a crackin parking space right in the town, I got some verbal from some geezer who was sat just inside the car park entrance which left my rear out in the road so I went round him he wasn't amused when I got a space but he soon shut his trap when I stepped out the van, he then just drove round giving me dirty looks πππ Bit of shopping in the town a pub lunch & the afternoon spent on the only dog beach with our yappy pud going bananas at all the other dogs so the kids took her out on the body boards & she had her first proper swim πππ» With no planned stopover we took a drive over to perranporth as I'd never been & on route we spotted a sign for a possible place to stay & checked it out! Nipped in to say hi & they were lovely peeps so we continued on & said we'd be back ππ» Perranporth was cracking but only a short visit so said we'd return if we could, back at the pub we set our beds up & had some grub which was delicious My double burger was cooked to perfection Charlie's sausage & mash looked good too & he ate the lot Puddings were also amazing & one place we will be returning too Field was on a slope so I may get us a set of chocks to keep in the van for places like this ππ»

Up again early and on the road but not too far playing courier for Congi picking up a sunroof, a few toys here Nice bloke & we sat chatting over a coffee ππ» We then set off to find Doug, an easy task but swiftly got threw off the site as it was a no dog place, it look em nearly an hour to catch us though π. So we said our goodbyes & headed back over to perranporth had another look round the shops & spent the rest of the day on the beach, kids did a bit more body boarding Then it was Fish n chips out the paper & set off for home! Left perranporth at 7pm & rocked up at home at 12:02am - 5 hours home was good including a few stops, so glad we decided to drive at night! Amazing tour of Cornwall, cant believe it's over & back to work & school on Tuesday π©

Looks nice down there. π It was beut fella you'd think no pre planned places to stay would be pure stress but it just wasn't! The site that Doug was on although in an awesome location with its own beach in fantastic surroundings had some right dodgy characters, 'Full of Gobby Brummies' I believe Doug said π I really don't think we could stop in one place for more than a night or two, that would be more for use of facilities for a shower & empty the chemical loo I've just said to Mrs Robo I'm gonna miss our gypsy life π

Just walk about like you own the place, we did well for 6 days on our trip and plenty of showers.

I don't believe in just walking into a campsite and stealing their facilities, even if it is easy to do.
