Reading on some others forums they really are top quality, some say made by that well known American make. They do seem very similar.. my only slight gripe is the lifetime warranty doesn't apply to ratchets, although to be fair, I have only broke one, and it has had various lengths of pipe on the end of it for leverage! I was told by mech friend if the ratchet goes errrm bend it by mistake

I've just managed to break my hardly used 3/8" ratchet trying to undo a nut that was in a plastic bumper end cap so wasn't using much force at all I guess that I was just unlucky. Edit : just bashed it a few times with a rubber mallet and it now works but doesn't give me much confidence in its longevity. Edit 2 - just failed again...

Just bought one from Amazon thanks which cost nearly as much as the Halfords set but I'll get it tomorrow.
