The bull bar/kid option is bullshit, so kids don't get hit by trucks or busses or other flat front vehicles then? It's the hard lumps. What's worse, a hard corner or a flat sheet?

Like I said on T4page If I hit a kid in a 3 ton van it's not gonna end good with or without bull bars, I'm not planning on driving fast in urban street areas but where we live if snided with Deer everywhere, It's very rural and my work journey is all back roads, I see them everyday and have been lucky so far until now, I like the look of the middle smaller one's so I'll just have make sure I'm aiming to get em in the middle again next time. I don't like either to be honest but I know it's gonna happen again.

We used to live on the edge of Ashridge forest in Hertfordshire.
That was full of deer and, like you, we used to see them virtually every day.
In 14 years of living there we were lucky never to hit one but we had a few close escapes. I think that you've been very unfortunate to hit one and there's not much chance of it happening again as they're pretty 'road aware' - if not the roads around where we used to live would have been littered with deer carcases.
I realise that it's easy for me to say this as you're the one whose had the misfortune but I think that you've just been very unlucky.

Was out early Thursday morning trecking the back roads to pick up the M6 on route to Birmingham airport!
It was about 4:30am and I'd taken Mrs Robo's mini as it has heated seats & it was cold!
Was bombing along and I spotted a badger waddling across the road, I breaked a little but couldn't stop moved over so I didn't hit it full on & ran over its head! Thud and car lifted as I ran it over!
Didn't stop but came back that way & he was gone 😱
