I’ve had new ones leak through the wire out of the box, I mixed some bits up to make the new bottom bits fit the og top Booger, I don't have an old one to butcher.

Turns out it was leaking at the seal so I added a generous smear of blue hylomar and it's sorted. 👍

Ta My van runs out at about a third of a tank :-) I didn't notice the make but recognised the box. I doubt there's a choice of manufacturer. I didn't bend anything, one would hope they are set up in a jig. It certainly reads full when it's full but thus far that's all I know.

The Jp Ones are £30, you can get VDO ones but they are 170 euros delivered. Mine is made up of 2, when I slid it into the hole in the top of the tank the complete arm fell off and floated away. I like the idea of the VDO one but don't like the idea of the 170 euros

It would seem that they aren't very good.
I used to be against making a sender access panel but I've changed my mind on that one recently!

Just to complicate matters I believe that the Brazilian VDO ones are less reliable than the Czech ones, for Earlies at least.

I might just drill a hole then and dip it with a stick
